KeepBuffing LLC (“KeepBuffing,” “we,” “us”) provides missed-call text-back, AI messaging, and online booking services to auto detailing businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through keepbuffing.com and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
• Contact information you give us, such as your name, business name, email address, and mobile phone number.
• Business information our clients provide to set up their service, such as services offered, prices, hours, and service area.
• Messages and call records, including the phone number of a missed call, text messages sent and received, and appointment details.
• Payment information, which is collected and processed by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
• Basic website usage data, such as pages visited and browser type, collected through cookies and similar tools.
How we use information
• To provide our services, including sending text messages, booking appointments, sending reminders, and requesting reviews.
• To respond to inquiries, schedule demos, and provide customer support.
• To send account notices and, if you opted in, service-related text messages.
• To bill for our services and prevent fraud.
• To maintain and improve our website and services.
• To comply with legal obligations.
Information we process for our clients
When a customer contacts one of our client detailing businesses, we process that customer’s information on the business’s behalf and only to provide the service the business requested. The detailing business is responsible for its own privacy practices toward its customers.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate, such as our messaging, telephone, scheduling, hosting, and payment providers, and only as needed to provide our services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messaging
If you opt in to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number only to send the messages you agreed to. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. See our SMS Terms at keepbuffing.com/sms-terms.
Automated and AI tools
Our services use automated technology, including an AI assistant, to send and reply to text messages and to book appointments. A person can take over a conversation at any time, and you can ask to speak with a person by replying to any message.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. When a client ends service, we delete or return its data within a reasonable time unless we are required to keep it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing support@keepbuffing.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email and opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will honor requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for making one.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
